In celebration for Active Ride Shop’s 30-year anniversary, BB Bastidas, a known artist within the skate community, designed and painted an original wall mural on display at the Active Skatepark. The “30 Year Tour” skate event was held in June 2019 hosting a variety of skate contests, vendor workshops and live music.
Using Bastidas’ illustration, I created all coordinating promotional assets for the event, including original font used on T-shirt and digital flyers. I collaborated with the artist to ensure a cohesive mood throughout all event branding.
Event assets included T-shirt, deck, poster, and digital media.

Active X Hangar 24
A collaboration for the launch of a new brew from Redlands-based brewery, Hangar 24.
Inspired by Hangar 24’s vintage aviation aesthetic, I created a clean one-color line illustration implementing Hangar’s Pantone. Artwork incorporates geographic Mount “R”, a visible Redlands landmark from the main brewery.
Designed merch includes T-shirt and insulated party cup.
Famous for their Nashville Hot Chicken, Howlin Ray’s attracts a massive crowd with wait times up to three hours. An exclusive collaboration, Active X Howlin’ Ray’s, kicked off the “All You Can Eat” campaign - a food series recognizing pioneers in the Los Angeles culinary scene.
Inspired by the restaurant’s hometown, Chinatown, merchandise depicted the Mandarin symbol for “chicken”. T-shirt graphics incorporated Howlin’s own red checkerboard paper wrappers, along with flames to represent the intense heat from the famous spice mixture.
Designed all limited-edition merchandise available for purchase at the event.
